TradeSpace is Canada's 1st co-warehouse community that provides on-demand warehouse, office space and fulfillment services to over 100 small businesses in the construction, light manufacturing and e-commerce industries.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and creative student to join the TradeSpace team as the Community Assistant Intern. You will be working with our team full-time Monday to Friday from 8:00 - 4:30pm to support our community of small businesses and entrepreneurs.

This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the always evolving and fast-paced start-up environment and connect with really awesome businesses like Partake, Trulocal, AM Cleaning, Flux Connectivity and more. From producing award-winning non-alcoholic beer to TikTok famous sweatshirts, TradeSpace's members do it all. We are only in year four of this start-up adventure and have already been honoured with the Helcim Emerging Growth Award, and our co-founders were featured in Avenue Magazine's "Top 40 Under 40, Class of 2020". And we don’t plan on stopping there, as we are constantly learning and making improvements to help us grow. TradeSpace is looking to expand all across Canada, so we need a stellar team that will be up for the challenge!

Community Assistant duties:

  • Be active in our community: engage members and be active on our applications
  • Provide technical support to all of our members and guests
  • Manage our vendor list, acquiring new ones when needed
  • Direct incoming and outgoing shipments, sorting mail & packages
  • Maintain social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) by posting exciting content about our members & community events
  • Maintain warehouse and office operations
  • Help us with events and creating a fun atmosphere for our TradeSpace members
  • Assist sales, warehouse staff, and management with various tasks and projects
  • Ensure coffee levels and overall office supplies are adequate for the day

To be considered you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with multitasking and prioritizing tasks
  • ust be able to work Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

$15.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm
