Role Description

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including forklift operation, labour jobs, cleaning, and maintenance. They will ensure the warehouse is in good condition for members and visitors, interact with members regularly, and work with the Community Manager to provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is handy, resourceful, and proficient in basic repairs, maintenance, and equipment assembly.

What you will be doing

  • Execute day-to-day warehouse operations, including forklift operation, labour jobs, cleaning, building cages, and overall warehouse upkeep.
  • Ensure the warehouse is well-maintained and tour-ready at all times for members and visitors.
  • Interact with members on a daily basis to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Work alongside the Community Manager to provide the best possible service to members.
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance, equipment assembly, and other types of handiwork as required.

How you will succeed

  • Technical experience with general labour work.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment or alike.
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks (Access to a reliable vehicle and driver's licence.
  • Team Player.
  • Can work independently and strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and optimistic.
  • Have a resourceful and handy attitude to tackle various tasks that arise in a warehouse setting.
  • Possess a forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.

Salary

$18/hr to start. Increase to $22/hr after 3 months probationary period.
